Thanks to everyone who joined us at our last SPW event on Gender Communication – great to see yet another sold out crowd!
We’re already looking forward to the next SPW Trademark event on May 23, “Vision Driven: Insights from the C-Suite” with Eileen McDonnell, CEO of Penn Mutual and Michelle Lee, NE Regional President of Wells Fargo. Even today, women hold just 15% of C-Level positions, so both of these women have shattered the statistics. We’re excited to have NBC 10’s Tracy Davidson, moderate the discussion, and I know they will be sharing some great advice that they have gathered as they’ve climbed the ranks to the top, in traditionally male-dominated fields.
A reminder that we’ll be collecting boxes of cereal and cereal bars for our featured non-profit, The Ceres Society of Philabundance. Sometimes we forget that summer is not pool parties, sports camps and sleepovers for all kids; in fact, summer is very difficult for many children who rely on school meal programs to stay nourished. A striking 1 in 4 individuals in the Philadelphia region are at risk for hunger (that’s more than double the state and national levels), so please join us in making summer a little easier for our neighbors in need.
